Feature request for Square payment plugin

Hello.

We have been using the Square payment plugin for a couple months, and while it is working well there are a few things that would make it better.

In Square's list of transactions, there are not a lot of details about the order. We get the customer's email address, what they ordered and payment type. Nothing else. Not even their name.

I would like to request an enhancement to the Square payment plugin to at least include the customer's name, but would also like to see their address and phone number if possible. This will just make finding transactions in Square far simpler than it is now.

Would this be possible?

Thank you for your feedback! I’m glad to hear that the Square payment plugin is working well for you.

Regarding your request, currently, Square’s API does have some limitations on the data it returns, but it should be possible to include additional details like the customer’s name, address, and phone number in the transaction data.

This will require some modifications on the plugin, so we’ll try to see if it’s possible and get back to you asap.
