How do set product order

-- Joomla version -- : 3.1.5

Hi.
I cant seem to figure out how i can move each product up/down the list.
Is this possible?

Yes i saw that tread, but still i dont get how i can change the individual order....? I guess i havent seen the light yet :-)

Haha, well, the key is, when you're in the backend and seeing the list of products in the category you want to manually order, change the display option "All sub elements" to "Direct sub elements". Then you'll also get access to the order column with arrow buttons and number fields, and - at the top end of that column - the button for saving it. ;)

Hi,

Yes, it is possible, in the backend via the menu Products > Products, you are able to see all the products.
So now you will have to filter them by "direct sub elements" instead of "all sub elements", and you can now order them directly there.

If using the Business Ver. A fairly Quick and easy way is:
Create a custom field in your settings called " listings" or whatever you wish
Than obviously enter a number for your products ( yes a little labor & time )
Go to your menu item, under the option "Ordering field" select the custom field you made.

Not elegant, but should work.
