Embedded videos dissapear for some reason.

Hello,

I am trying to embed a video for my products,but once its embedded and everything is ok,I click on the product it appears the first time,but when i click the product again it disappears .

I embed the video by clicking ''Source code editor.'' The embedded code disappears after one refresh. Any ideas?

Hi,

I suppose that the issue is two folds:
1. Your adding the code of the video that your streaming plateform gave you directly in the description of the product instead of using a Joomla content plugin.
2. The HTML editor that you're using is filtering the HTML that you're adding to the description as it is detected as not normal HTML description tags.

how to solve this issue? i try to embed youtube video, it doesn't appear anything in my product description.

Hi,

Get and use a plugin like www.joomlashack.com/joomla-extensions/osembed/ or, if only YouTube is required, www.joomlashack.com/joomla-extensions/osyoutube/ , then all you need is to put the URL to the video on its own line in the product description. Yes, the free versions are working just fine.
