Hello,
I have a couple fo issues with duplicate content:
1 - My Hikashop categories are very similar in term of contents to some Joomla articles which describe the products of each category, so I'd like to set a canonical url for each category pointing to the relative Joomla article, I tried to do so using the "canonical url" field in the category setting, but doing so results in the category being linked to the Joomla article !? (meaning that when I click on the category name or image I am redirected to the Joomla article for which I set the canonical url in the category settings)
2 - I have many extremely similar products, everything is the same but the product image. To avoid duplicate contents penalties I'd like to create canonical urls pointing all to one product or to the Joomla article describing the products of that category. Is this someway possible to achieve?
Thank you,
Nic
