Hello,

Config : Joomla 3.6.4. / Hikashop Business 2.6.4. / PHP 7.0.10. / Yootheme Pro 1.1.6. / Widgetkit 2.9. / Regular Labs ReReplacer 7.1.6 / Joomill Hikashop to Widgetkit plugin 1.0.0 / sh404SEF 4.8.1.3465. / Falang 2.7.0.

I just finished to build a site with Yootheme Pro and Hikashop. Tricky .. but I want to keep the both at any price (love Yootheme, love hika). I hope somebody can help or guide me with the remaining issue I have.

**Issue 1:** the pages done with page builder (PB) can switch with joomla language switcher, that's ok. But the pages not done with Page Builder, typically hikashop generated pages, cannot be managed inside PB, and so the translation need the Falang Switcher to work.
**=> How can I put the languages flags system (Joomla/Falang) in the same position depending on the type of page ie Page Builder or not?**

**Issue 2:** because of bootstrap 2 and 3 incompatibility story, ... I used the insert hikashop into widgetkit plugin. Not perfect but, this plus the Regular Labs, give more or less good results.
- I created a widget with the "hikashop into widgetkit plugin",
- then created custom module using the widget (or a widget module directly),
- then in Page Builder inserted the joomla module.
So far so good except in frontend, if I change currency, then the module from "hikashop into widgetkit plugin" doesn't refresh.
**=> How can I force the refresh?** I heard about Flow

A big thank you for your work folks.

Thank you in advance
Yannick

I forgot 1 issue.

I have XPF but I cannot put it as main currency in hikashop (before the rates refresh don't work). However you can see in my home page the default currency is EUR, which is not what I want.. I want XPF. Any workaround?

Also I very enoying issue. When I auto refresh the rates the XPF is obviously not found in stocks, and it put the value back to 1. So I cannot use auto refresh rates because my prices are in XPF, and becomes equal to EUR ... at each refresh. Any work around?

Thank you

Hi,

1. I don't see why you would need the Falang language switcher module. Why not use the Joomla language swticher module everywhere ?
HikaShop works just fine with it. If you change the language, HikaShop properly detects it, and I suppose that Falang does too.
Now Falang's support should be able to say more about that than us.
And regarding displaying different modules based on the page type, you can do that with the menu assignment option of your modules in the Joomla modules manager.

2. Again, I don't know how that plugin works. That plugin was developed by WidgetKit, not us. I would guess that it might be related to caching, so first thing to do would be to deactivate the caching everywhere on your website and see if that helps.
Otherwise, I'm afraid you'll have to ask the guys behind that plugin.

3. XPF is not a currency supported by the European Central Bank. So edit the HikaShop rates auto update plugin and make sure that you selected Yahoo Finance and not the ECB as otherwise the rates can't be updated based on that currency.

Bonjour Nicolas,

Thank you.

1- I just published Falang Switcher on all page except (the ones needed), and publish the joomla lang switcher only on desired pages manually. yes, it more a question for yootheme on how to flag their pages in 1 shoot instead of manual treatment.
And no sorry, Falang is mandatory when you start to have a certain volume of products and languages, duplicating product is not manageable ... with 9 languages like in boraboracosmetic.com, good luck without Falang.
SOLVED

2- Wes, the 3rd party is looking at it.
SOLVED from your side

3- THANK YOU is was not aware we can change the source!!
SOLVED

I am ready to pay a fortune to have Yootheme PRO and their widgets and Hikashop Integrated (bootstrap 3).
Interested? How much would you need for that dev?

Thanks
Yannick

Hi,

We don't have any knowledge on how their widgets work, however, as you know, there is already an integration between widgetkit and HikaShop. Isn't that the solution you're looking for ?
And regarding HikaShop itself working better with bootstrap 3 templates, it should be the case with HikaShop 3.0
So I would recommend to wait a bit on that.
