Hi,

No worries. I wasn't offended. I just wanted to make it clear that it was an impossible thing.

It's not that small. You need to take into account the statuses of the orders, the products, do the parsing, the MySQL query, the replacing, maybe one or two extra options.
It's several dozens of lines of code so it's already a feature on its own. It's not just 10 lines of code I can easily add in a few minutes. It requires proper development and testing, probably a whole day.

We'll see if we can do it for the next release but I can't guarantee it will be in there.

Hi Nicolas,
on the 4.4.1 Changelog I read:
"...You can now use tags like {hkshow bought="xx"}content{/hkshow} or {hkhide notbought}content{/hkhide} on your website to display content based on whether someone purchased the product xx or didn't purchase anything..."

As far as I understand the "if the logged user has bought/not bought the product id ..." has been added.
Please, What about "if the logged user has/not has a valid Hika subscription id ..." ?!?

Hello,

If you want to base the display of the content on a HikaSerial Subscription, you have similar tag available in HikaSerial.

A forum thread with similar subject :

Hi Jerome,
I didn't know that plugin existed, thanks. For me, who have limited skills, the documentation is really limited, the step by step guides with examples help a lot. Would be really good to have a more detailed Documentation page...

Please, What I don't quite understand is whether this plugin also has the ability to hide content based only on the product ID purchased. Basically it is the "copy" (another way to do the same thing) of the plugin www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...-product-insert.html + the function for subscriptions and serials.
That is, we can only use this Serial Private Content plugin to to restrict content depending on HikaShop product (if I bought a product) and/or on HikaSubscription (if I bought a subscription = "a product with an expiration date" / or if I bought a serial = "by consuming the personalized unique serial")

Am I right ?

Hello,

The HikaSerial private content tag is based only on HikaSerial "packs/plans".
The customer need to have a serial from the designed pack (or plan).

Regards,

PS : Please do not open several existing threads for the same question.

Hi Jerome,
I have not created any double posts, I have only commented on two different existing posts respecting the two different topics addressed, even if both mention the Private Content plugin:

Here the question was the Private Content plugin relation with the standard HikaShop Content Tag.

From point of view of my customers (site managers) a simple way is always better.

Please, Why not visualize into the Private Content plugin editor popup the standard Show/Hide Tags, by adding (as option) the standard Show/Hide content tags ?
{hkshow bought="xx"}content{/hkshow} or {hkhide notbought}content{/hkhide}

In this way the site managers, users that has a frontend access, can have all the Hika Private Content solutions under the same button and they can use the basic standard way or the advanced way through HikaSerial/Subscriptions...

Hi,

That's because the private content plugin is from HikaSubscription while the hkshow/hkhide tags are from HikaShop.
Also, the hkshow/hkhide tags are brand new tags.
So rather than the private content plugin editor popup, it will probably the same plugin which adds the "product" button popup to the editor which will also handle these new tags in the future.
For now, you have to write them manually.
