Hello
Can i set as default for an specific usergroup, what ALC settings should be used
Have made an VIP usergroup.. but it should use a specific group for every product?

I have looked at mass actions.. it does not allow it on usergroup level.

Best regards
Brian

Hi,

If you want to set a "access level" for all the products, you can indeed use a mass action.
In the menu System>Mass actions, you create a new massaction with the action "update the values" on the column "product_access" with the operation "string" and the value: ,XX,
where XX is the id of the user group for which you want to restrict your products. When you click on the "process" button, it will restrict all the products to that user group.

What do i do wrong?
I have Access level ID 1
I have set the Mass action like this, i think that should remove the public view

But it is still there when i create a new price

Hello,

I think there is a misunderstood, a massaction will impact existing data (in Data Base), here you create a new element (here, the price) and as well a new database entry, the system won't change future database element.

Now, if we understand you well from your last message, you want have pre-selected by default a specific usergroup each time you set a new element, but unfortunately that's not possible without custom code in HikaShop, and Joomla core file (As Acl system is Joomla dependent)

Sorry for this return.
Regards

Ok
Then i do not understand why the trigger is "After the product is updated"
My thoughs is when i update an product with my new VIP price, it should set the current acl as set in the Mass action?

The product is already there and just getiing added a other price.

I am abit confused here?

Is the cvs export/import better for this solution?

Best regards
Brian

Hi,

If that's what you want to do, then your mass action is not correct at all.
The filter area is to decide whether the product should be processed or not.
So with the filter you configured in your screenshot, it means that the mass action will only do the actions if the "access level" setting of the product is set to that particular user group.
So you do NOT want to have a filter for your mass action. Instead you want to have one action "update the values", and in it, you want to select the column "price_access" with the "string" type and the value being ",1,"
