Root Category Description

-- PHP version -- : 5.6.38

I've been able to edit the normal category descriptions, but how do I edit the Root Category description? I need to do this as I want it to display for our 'All Products' listing (Menu item created with Categories listing)

Hi,

The "root" category isn't supposed to be used directly for anything. You're supposed to have your products categories unde the "product category" category and use that category as main category when you want to display an all products listing.
So there is no direct link to edit the root category description through the category edition interface.
So simply edit another category and change the id in the URL to 1 (the id of the root category) and you'll be able to edit it.
