Products with Options - Option name does not display on order email

-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.0
-- PHP version -- : 7.1.22
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : No error

Hi - my client informed me today of this issue.

1) In attachment 'product.jpg' - item has 2 'options' setup for selection.

2) Upon ordering, 'orders' screen in back end only shows the value from the drop-down selection. There is no mention of the 'Product Name' (Option name) that was purchased. See 'shirt.jpg' attachment.

3) Even more confusing, any emails that are sent to the customer and the store admin only show the drop-down selection. Again, no mention of the actual product name. See 'email.jpg'.

I looked under settings and options settings, and can't figure out what is wrong or what to do in order to display this.

Can you please help asap? Thanks in advance.

Hello,

you were right ! Thanks for you return ! We were able to reproduce your issue, as the Option product name has to be displayed.
All of this allow us to provide a patch after doing some test, and so you will have the fix by updating your HikaShop version.
On our side everything works but we are awaiting returns from you.

Hi Philippe - I just downloaded and installed the new version, then cleared history and cache.

So, if i go back to a previous order, it doesn't seem to be working. The email only seems to display as before. I'm going to the Admin interface, clicking on 'orders', then an order number (268 in this case), then clicking the 'Email' button at the top left. The pop-up doesn't change, still does not list the Option name.

Will this only work for NEW orders?

Hi,

Yes, it's only for new orders as the product name is copied from the cart when the order is being created.
