cURL error

Hi,

I am not sure is it our server or hikashop but we had same error 2 times: "curl failed. Error: Operation timed out after 10000 miliseconds with 0 bytes received API returned error"

First time it was in back-end order edit inside product vex popup when viewing it. Second was in fron-end category listing.

What could be the issue? As we had no errors in server log files....

The only what has changed is that recently we added 14 mass actions, each mass action moves products from category to category and it's triggered everyday....

Any advise would be welcome.

Update.

So it seems the issue was with gelocation plugin and with settings "Set currency". As i understand before page load plugin need to get data from IPInfoDB and if no responce it's just times out. Am i right?

Hello,

If it is coming from the geolocation plugin ; so the issue is a server issue.
It could be related to your hosting or the API server ; hard to say like that.
But if you do not need the geolocation features and that issues happens too much, best would be to deactivate the plugin.

Hi,

Thanks for help. I just "Set currency" to Off and that seems fixed the issue.
