Hi
I need to be able to buy files - three or four versions - as regards the file format, while as a data - field artist and field title - it's about searching. Can the name of the artist be used as Brands? If so, where can you change the name to Artist? Are there any options available in the Essential version for selecting several versions of such a file? Because in the Start version there is no such option - unless I do not know where it is yet?

Hi,

Sure, you can change the "brand" text to something else with translation overrides, like for any other text of the HikaShop interface:
www.hikashop.com/download/languages.html#modify

If you want to provide a selection of the format on the product page when the user is adding the product to the cart, you can use a characteristic: www.hikashop.com/support/support/documen...html#characteristics
That's available in all the editions of HikaShop.

Thank you for the answer and I have a question - how should the products be built - I mean the mentioned music files as products? Do we create a separate catalog as Titles and in each product we mark categories - one or several, eg. Genre, Artist, letter "A"? Does the product include eg. >> Product category> foreign music> genre> A (letter "A")> Product?

Hi,

Well, there are many ways. It depends what are your needs. How many products you have, how you want your customers to search for them, etc.
I'm not clear on what you want to do so I can't say what you should do.
I would need much more details to be able to offer an answer.
