-- HikaShop version -- : 4.0.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.2
-- PHP version -- : 7.0
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : FF 64.0.2

On the product display page my client wanted the description on the right side of the page so I altered the default_show.php file accordingly...all good. Client then changed her mind, as they often do, so I deleted my customization and reverted to the original layout file.

The problem I'm experiencing now is that , when I create a new product, some of them display with the description tab at the bottom whereas others appear at the bottom but without the actual tab surrounding them. Although all of the information is displayed I need to ensure uniformity throughout all of the products.

I'm sure it's just a question of adjusting the settings, but I'm stymied.

Any help is appreciated, thanks,

Scott

Hi,

In each product and in each category, you have the setting "layout on product page" which allows you to select a layout for the product page.
If some of the products have one layout and others have another layout, it's likely that this setting has been changed for some products/categories compared to the others.

Hi Nicolas,

Thank you for the quick response.

Sadly, at present there are only 6 products and they are all in the same category. I've rechecked the settings in both the individual products and the product parent category and all of them are set to "Hikashop Default".

This is my first time working with Hikashop and I may have inadvertently changed the wrong settings. Is there possibly another setting elsewhere that may be affecting the layout.

I need to make sure that the tab with the title "Description" appears at the bottom of every product page.

I'd be very appreciative if you could take a look under the hood and see where I've gone wrong.
