Categories description does not display

Hi.
We have decided to add description to categories in order to imprive our SEO performance. However, as yo can see on the screenshots, when we try to add something in the category description, it doesn't display. What kind of problem can it be? Does it require working with the code? Could you provide me with at least some hints how to solve it?

Hi,

Edit your menu item via the Joomla menus manager and make sure that the "show description" setting is activated.
That's probably why you don't see the description.
