Out of stock variants

Hi. I was wondering if there is a way to highlight the variants that are available. My client wishes for both out of and in stock to show. For example, could I make only the variants with quantities a bit bolder? Just so the visitor knows that these are the available sizes.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I don't see how that's possible with the way you're displaying the characteristics.
You have two characteristics.
You have two colors: camel and blue
And you have 6 sizes : 40 42 44 46 48 50
Suppose that the variants camel 40 and blue 42 have stock, but that the variants camel 42 and blue 40 do not.
What do you want to be bolder ? the "camel" value ? the "blue" value ? The 40 value ? The 42 value ?
All of them are linked to variants that do and variants that do not have stock.

Here are alternatives I can propose:
- change the "characteristic selection method" setting to "table". That will display a 2D table of the variants and the variants without stock won't be selectable.
- change that same setting to "list" and that will display a listing of the variants and no radio selectors so you'll be able to see rapidly what's available.
- keep that setting to "radio", and instead activate the "dynamic characteristic display" setting. That way, you'll only see the first characteristic radio selector with the values avaiable, and when you select one, it will display the second radio selector with only the values available based on what was selected in the first radio selector.

My client wants the out of stock options to show, which is why I'm struggling with this. She wants the SIZE variants to be bold where they're available. I will try the table option now to see how it's displayed, but the layout you're seeing right now is pretty much how it has been requested to look like...

EDIT: I tried it and it comes out like this

Hi,

That's just because of the CSS of the template which messes with the look. So you need to add a bit of CSS to make it look nicer and aligned.

Hi. I think I've found the reason why this is happening. Apparently, in the characteristic name there is a bit of gibberish inserted for some reason. Perhaps, do you have any idea how I can fix it? I'm not sure which part to edit to fix that.

Hi,

As I said, you should be able to correct that with CSS code.

Now your link doesn't have the 2d table for the characteristic selection so I can't check the CSS already there and thus can't provide a precise answer as to what CSS code should be added.
