Hi,

I sell stickers of dog breeds. By default the sticker had the breed name below the image, but I want to give the customer an optional field to change the breed name into the name of their dog.
I'm using HikaShop Essential but although I can create a custom field for (a) specific products(s), I can't get them to be displayed on the product after selection of options.

I don't want to spend another €50 on HikaShop Business just for that.

Is it possible?

To do that you'll just have to create a custom item field via "Hikashop->Display->Custom fields" which are available through Hikashop's business edition.

I don't want to spend another €50 on HikaShop Business just for that.
Is it possible?

Sure adding some custom code to allow for it with Hikashop Essential would be possible but it will cost you way more than 50€.

What's the use of having custom fields in Essential?

Oke, purchased the Business edition.
Now I wish to have (for some products) a free customer text field on the product page to enter a name / line before they add it to the cart.

I've been reading some docs, but still can't figure it out

I created a text field, to be displayed front end and required, but I don't see an input field on the products page
