Slideshow module placed on category view is also showing with product displays

We just used the inbuilt content slider instead.

Hi,
We've created a roksprocket slideshow module and set it to display with a menu item set to show hikashop 'categories'. However, when a users selects a product from the slideshow, the slideshow is still running above the individual products they have selected.

How do we block this from happening as users have to scroll down a long way to read about the product and then add it to their cart.
