Display by color - icon doesn't show in front end

-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.23

Hi,

We're developing a webshop with Hikashop that sells t-shirts. We have created a charactaristic with color icons to select the color as described in www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/2...isplay-by-color.html . However, on the frontend the icons don't show, instead I get a code including the url to the icon. In the backend, the icons are shown properly in the variants of the product.

How can we fix this?

Hello,

This issue is here because you haven't define the correct "Characteristics selection method" option.
From Main HikaShop Configuration, go to Display tab, then Product options part :

Select "Radio Button", unfortunately this little "hack" (because it's a variant that are expected, here) didn't work for all display method...
Hope this little inconvenience and hope this will fit your needs as well.
