Hello and thank you for the great support so far.

next issue:
I inserted more product pictures but they aren´t displayed.
I had this when I started the shop building the first time but now the pictures are not displayed.

Somehow I deactivated this, because the pictures hat a wrong look / preview in the product window itself. Now I would like to reactivate this again and would fix the issue with the picture display afterwards...

kind regards

Hi,

I'm not sure what you're talking about.
The images of the products will automatically be displayed on the product page.
There is no option to deactivate that.
It could be done with CSS or a view override but that's about it.
Could you provide more context ? For example, screenshots of the settings of a product with several images and the URL of that product page on your frontend with the issue so that we could check on the situation there.

Thx for the quick reply. As you can see in the pictures I inserted some extra views of the product, but they aren´t shown. Neither in the product itself, nor in the category view.

the URL of the product is:
producthttp://webdesign.emidee.de/baycicle/shop/product/vall-e-pro.html
all the best wishes

Hello,

First you have to know that in HikaShop Listing it's not possible to have several image per products in product listing, this will required some custom through HikaShop override view , to be able to display several image, but this won't be an easy task especially if you have variant products like it seems here.

For the product page, the important point here is the variant, from your screenshot you have associated your images to the main product, but, when you arrived on the product page, it's not the main product that are shown, it's the default variant, see my screenshot :

In your Variant tab, you have to associated your images for each of this product variants, and then it will be displayed following selected configuration.

Hope this will help you to achieved what you need.
Regards

Hello and thx for the explanation.
I don´t want to have several Images for different variants... only some additional images in the description of the main product itself. .
So I expected that the different Images inserted will be displayed in the main item too. These are only some more detailed views.

Did I understand right, that this isn´t working?

kind regards

Hi,

You can have several images in your main product and several images in variants. There are 3 scenarios:
- you have images in the main product and not in the variants. In that case, the main image of the main product will be used on the products listing, and all the images of the main products will be displayed on the product details page
- you have images in the variants and not in the main product. In that case, the main image of the default variant of the product will be used on the products listing, and all the images of the current variant will be displayed on the product details page
- you have images in the main product and in the variants. In that case, the main image of the main product will be used on the products listing, and all the images of the current variant will be displayed on the product details page

So either you want to only have all the images in the main product, or you want all the images common to all the variants in each variant on top of have the variant-specific images in each variant.
