Hi all. I have the necessity to enable or disable categories by date or month range, but in the free version it's not available. Anyone can guide me on how to do this? Or creating a php code instead to solve this if it's possible? Thanks everyone.

Hello,

First of all, for information purpose, even with the paid versions you cannot create date restriction (in order to unpublished categories).
Now can you elaborate more your needs in order to allow us to see what is your best option, please ?

Hi Philip, first of all, thanks for your quick answer.

The situation is the next: we need to enable or disable categories by date range, such as Category: Clean Products have to be enable from 29/09 to 10/10 and thus go through various ranges of dates, because we have a trimestral order provision system to deliver products, so the user have to not see the option to select any categorie that is disable. If is this posible or any idea of a manual solution I can implement, will be welcome. Thanks again and regards!

Hello,

As previously said from categories it's impossible, now in product setting page you have :
=> Available from Start_date To End_date in order to define product per product available date.

And in order to have less manipulation to do AND edit per category, you can use the Mass Action system.
I recommend to read this documentation about MassActions.

And in order to help have a look on my screenshot example :

Hope this will help you
Regards
