Adding bundled items - saving often times out

Hi,
when we create links to bundled items, saving the product changes often times out. If not then saving takes a long time.

Hopefully this can be reproduced and resolved. We do have a large inventory if that helps. When the product changes save successfully, everything works ok on the front end.
