Characteristics and Bundles

Hi,

Can I create a Base product ( Handle - Male) with 6 Characteristics - Colour (black, white, grey) - Position (Left, Right)
I also have the same product handle female with same Characteristics.

I want to be able to select the Base Male, choose Black and Left for example and add to order (cart).
In the check out I want to be able to see the related female product with black and left.

Is this at all possible, or am I asking too much and need to just bundle the main products together with no Characteristics?

Hi,

There is a related products plugin on our marketplace that you can use to display related products of the products already in the cart during the checkout:

However, the related products system link main products between them. There is no mechanism to link variants between themselves.
So if you have the male black left product in the cart, that plugin could display the femate product and clicking on it, the user could select the black left variant, but it can't directly display the female black left variant.
