insert image modal goes blank

Hi,

The modal for Inserting an image on a new product goes blank after clicking ok. Unfortunately there's no other way to save the item at that point. I can only reload and start over. I tried the typical stuff like clearing the browser cache and Joomla's cache but it didn't make a difference.

Hello,

Can you check that you have "vex" selected as the "popup mode" setting of the HikaShop configuration ?
Also, if that doesn't help, could you provide the error message console of your browser while you click on "OK"?
We can see that you have some error message in your browser inspector tool the popup to see if you have any javascript error on the page ? If so, please provide the error details.

Hi Philip,

I found the setting for popup mode but vex wasn't an option. There are three options: 1) none, 2) shadowbox (external), or 3) shadowbox (embedded). None was selected. I tried shadowbox (external) but that didn't fix it. When attempting to select shadowbox (embedded) a warning modal stated, "Be careful: You want to use ShadowBox in embbeded mode, the library should be installed in your website to work correctly" , so I didn't try it.

Hello,

Please, don't forget to add your FTP access, this can be useful for us.
Now, we process some tests directly on your backend, create a new product and select an image, and everything works as expected.

So, from this can you precise which browser do you use for your tests? AND check that you didn't have browser applications that maybe mess up with the image popup?
Just a guess but awaiting your feedback to progress on your subject.

I am using Chrome. I haven't been able to find an application that could be causing this. Where else might I investigate?

Hi,

Are you able to reproduce the problem on another browser ? On another computer ?
Are you able to reproduce the issue while logged in with the user access you provided us, or only with your own access ?
Basically, we need to understand the difference between what we see and what you see in order to understand what is causing the problem.
