Hi
I want to display my product based on several categories. For example, my category tree diagram looks like this:

Products
|---- TV
|---- speaker
|---- hair dryer

Brands
|---- Phillips
|---- Samsung
|---- LG

For example, Philips TV product is in two categories: TV and Philips. How can I display all the products that are in these two categories in the product list type menu?

Hello,

Follow our advice step by step :
- First, it seems that you want to use the "Categories listing on 2 levels", this module is usually create when installing HikaShop
- Note that you need to create (or copy/duplicate) the "Categories listing on 2 levels", to have 2 different listing (one for Products and another for Brands).
-On the relative product settings you have to define the Category listing AND the Brand (that basically works as a classic category) :

- And you will have to define in each of your categories listings on 2 levels the relative category (one for products, and other for brand).

With this you will have what you requested.
Regards

Hi Philip
This solution takes a long time to create categories. For this, we need to create a category for each household appliance in different brands. For example, the tree diagram of my categories for 5 household appliances in 5 different brands will look like this:

Hairdryer
|---- Brand 1
|---- Brand 2
|---- Brand 3
|---- Brand 4
|---- Brand 5

Hairdryer
|---- Brand 1
|---- Brand 2
|---- Brand 3
|---- Brand 4
|---- Brand 5

Tea Maker
|---- Brand 1
|---- Brand 2
|---- Brand 3
|---- Brand 4
|---- Brand 5

Meat Grinder
|---- Brand 1
|---- Brand 2
|---- Brand 3
|---- Brand 4
|---- Brand 5

Television
|---- Brand 1
|---- Brand 2
|---- Brand 3
|---- Brand 4
|---- Brand 5

speaker
|---- Brand 1
|---- Brand 2
|---- Brand 3
|---- Brand 4
|---- Brand 5

If we can create the possibility of displaying products in 2 separate categories in the menu, there will be no need to create additional categories. We create only 2 categories of brands and household appliances along with their sub-categories. like this:

Household appliances
|---- tea maker
|---- hair dryer
|---- meat grinder
|---- TV
|---- speaker

Brands
|---- Brand 1
|---- Brand 2
|---- Brand 3
|---- Brand 4
|---- Brand 5

I think this will be a valuable feature in Hikashop.

Hi,

You could create a filter on the brand so that it displays on a products listing menu item (one for each category).
Then, when you filter the products for a specific brand, you'll see the URL change, and the products listing displayed will contain only products of the category of the menu item which are also linked to the brand.
Then, you could create a menu item "alias" for that filtered URL so that the users could directly access a listing of the products which are linked to both the category and the brand.
