-- url of the page with the problem -- : shop.okcoil.com
-- HikaShop version -- : 5.0.0
-- Joomla version -- : 4.4.0
-- PHP version -- : 8.2.12
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Edge 117.0.2045.60

Please help me:
1. I set several variants for one product and set one default, I want to show the default variant directly instead of choosing characteristics one by one.
2. I want to replace "for you" module with categories, how to do it?
Please see the picture attached.

Hi,

1. Turn off the "Characteristics dynamic display" setting of the HikaShop configuration.

2. Edit the "for you" module via the Joomla modules manager and under the "HikaShop options" tab, change the settings to display categories instead of products.

Thanks, I have resolved the first problem.
In "for you" module, I can not find the option to show categories. I am using comfort template of the RcaTheme, which is recommended in your website, please see the attached picture.

Hi,

This is not a module included with HikaShop but a module from your template provider.
So etiher:
- you check with your template provider if you can use this module to display categories and then configure it as per their recommendations
- you disable this module and instead create a new instance of the "HikaShop content module" of HikaShop and configure it to display categories with the settings under the "HikaShop options" tab of the module.

Hi,

1. The font size and align can be changed with CSS:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...ize-the-display.html

2. You have settings in the "HikaShop Social Networks plugin" which you can find if you edit this plugin via the Joomla plugins manager. There, you can disable some of the buttons, or change their look, etc.

3. If you want to manage the comments, you can go in the menu Customers>Vote in your HikaShop backend.

Thanks again, and I have four more questions:
1. what's the link url for wishlist, order and cart?
2. In joomla login form, when I click "don't have an account", it shows virtuemart registration form. After I uninstall virtuemart, it shows erro 404.
3. When clicking "forgot your username" in sidebar, the information is shown in the current page below, do not open a new window.
4. prices are normal in other modules but it is always shown 0.00 in new arrive module, which is a module called RCA Product Carousel for HikaShop.
Please see the picture attached.

Hi,

1. Well, the best is to create menu items via the Joomla menu manager and select the type "HikaShop cart page", "HikaShop order listing" or "HikaShop wishlist page". Then, you can access these pages via the menu items URL.

2. I'm not sure why that would be. What you can do though is to activate the "Redirect Joomla registration to HikaShop Plugin" via the Joomla plugins manager in order to use the HikaShop registration page instead of Joomla's. Hopefully VM won't cause the problem anymore. Otherwise, you'll have to check with VM support why this is happening.

3. I think you need to create a menu item for that so that the login module can use it to display the password reset form:
docs.joomla.org/Help310:Menus_Menu_Item_User_Password_Reset
Without it, the login module uses the current menu item and since you've configured many modules to display above the main area on the current menu item, you get the form at the bottom.
If the menu item doesn't help, you'll have to check with the support of your template provider as the login area seems to be displayed by the template on your pages.

4. I suppose that's because you didn't provide any price in the main products, only in the variants. When you use a HikaShop products listing, HikaShop will, in such a case, load the prices of the variants and select the appropriate one to display. I suppose that this RCA module doesn't bother with this and only takes into account the prices directly linked to the main product.
So you could provide a main price in the main product and that would solve the problem.
Or instead of using this RCA carousel module, you could use the built-in carousel system in HikaShop Business:
demo.hikashop.com/index.php/en/hikashop/...display-with-effects
Or you could contact the support of your template and report this issue so that they could fix it.

Thanks a lot, it is so helpful, and I have almost finished my work. There are still two problems left, please help me:
1) I added a module of content display for Hikashop chooseing to show categories and it did show it, but when clicking the list, no products are shown, only a blank page.
2) In the cart display page, there is a button out of line, how to fix it?
Please see the picture attached.

The elements are as follows:
1) Categories module url link: shop.okcoil.com/index.php/categories
Screenshot is also attached.
2) The cart url link is as follows, and you need to login first, user name: hikashop, password: 12345678
shop.okcoil.com/index.php/cart-display
Thanks in advance.

Hi,

1. I think the simplest will be to select your "categories" menu item in the "menu" setting under the "HikaShop options" of your module via the Joomla modules manager.

2. The issue is with the CSS of your template.
In the file shop.okcoil.com/templates/r_comfort/cust...drogen-joomla_31.css
you have this CSS:

.button,.pager li>a,.pager li>span,a.hikabtn {
    display: inline-block;
    min-height: 1em;
    outline: 0;
    border: none;
    vertical-align: baseline;
    background: #3f3f3f;
    color: #ffffff !important;
    margin: 0 0.25em 0 0;
    padding: 0.688em 1.9em;
    text-transform: none;
    text-shadow: none;
    font-size: 1rem;
    font-weight: 700;
    line-height: 1em;
    font-style: normal;
    text-align: center;
    text-decoration: none;
    border-radius: 0;
    -webkit-box-shadow: none;
    box-shadow: none;
    -webkit-user-select: none;
    -moz-user-select: none;
    -ms-user-select: none;
    user-select: none;
    -webkit-transition: 0.1s ease;
    -moz-transition: 0.1s ease;
    transition: 0.1s ease;
    -webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent;
    box-sizing: border-box !important
}
which customizes the buttons.
However the a.hikabtn there should be just .hikabtn
Please report the issue and what I wrote above to your template provider so that they can address the issue and tell you what to do exactly to fix it because since the URL of this CSS file contains "css-complied" it probably means that if you change the CSS in that file, you'll loose the change next time the CSS is recompiled by the template.

Thank you very much. but I did not get your meaning of no.1
1. I think the simplest will be to select your "categories" menu item in the "menu" setting under the "HikaShop options" of your module via the Joomla modules manager.

The screenshot I sent to you is got from: Joomla modules manager>>categories>>Hikashop Options.

Hi,

On your screenshot, you have an option called "Menu". That option is set to "None". Select the menu item you named "Categories" in that option.
