Hello.
I´m a newbie with Hikashop and I´m having a problem with the Hikashop Content Module. My site is configured with two languages Spanish and English. All seems to be working fine except for the module. If you click in one new watch in the Spanish home, the product page is opened in English.
I´m unable to discover how to work with this module. I have created 2 instances one for Spanish and another for english. I have already checked that i´m using the correct one. But always the product page is in English.

Does anybody know how can I fix this issue?
Thank you very very much

Hi,

This doesn't doesn't seem to be a problem linked to the HikaShop content module.
I see the same issue on your products listings from the menu items.
One possibility I can think of would be that you entered the URL for english in the "canonical URL" field of your products and activated the "force canonical URL on listings" setting of the HikaShop configuration, without providing a translation for the "canonical URL" translation popup for spanish in your products.
Could you check on this ?

That works perfectly.
I change the parameter to No, generate URLs and all is fixed.

Many thanks for your quick response.

Hi,

Note that the best would be to provide the spanish canonical URL in the translation popup instead of just deactivating the canonical URLs forcing. It will allow for a better referencing of the product details pages in spanish.
But turning off the canonical URL forcing is indeed a quick and easy solution which works too.

Yes. I made that change quickly just to test.
Actually we are reviewing the canonical URL in order to activate them again

Thank you very much for all your amazing help.
