-- HikaShop version -- : 3.5.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.8.12
-- PHP version -- : 7.1.21

Some products are displayed in 2 categories. When client makes a report he gets a wrong number. The wright number should be 3

Any idea what is going wrong here?

Shows 3 products sold = correct

Shows 6 orders, while there are only 3 orders. So also Total sales is double

I'll keep on trying!

Hello,

From your settings screenshot something but can't be sure I guess that means that you have 3 orders confirrmed (paid) with this product and 6 order from all order status created (not paid) or even cancelled plus your 3 order confirmed (paid).

Can you check that I'm right because without seeing your order listening I'm just able to make a guess.

Regards

Hi Philip,
Thanks, that could be maybe possible.

I can't see more orders (cancelled/refund, etc). But client made 'mistake' few weeks ago and DELETED orders. So they are NOT in system anymore to be visible. But maybe somewhere in the database these orders are still counted? I already told them never do that again and just use Hikashop for handling refunds, cancellations etc.

I'll keep an eye on it and will check in the near future with new orders if I can see what will happen.

Hello,

For your last point the most important point is for us to know how your customer delete these orders because if it's directly in the database that may break database bridge and allow this kind of non consistent results.
On the other hand, delete orders from the HikaShop backend will leads to delete them as well on the database.

Hope this will help you to progress on your subject.

Regards

He has deleted them with Hikashop. So there should be no conflicting reports?

If you delete orders via "Hikashop->Orders", it will delete datas of your order through your database and you won't have any trace of that order.
If you want to display product from "confirmed" / "paid" orders, you'll just have to set the "Order status" option of your report to "confirmed".

Kind regards,
Mohamed Thelji.
