-- HikaShop version -- : 4.3.0

Hi,

Is it possible to show the sales per categories (for example from the last 30 days)?

I have tried al lot also with clean installes from Joomla and Hikashop but most of the time I get errors
when I trie to create reports.

For example:
- 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' CONCAT('',c.category_name) as `type` FROM #__hikashop_order AS a LEFT JOIN m' at line 1

With this configuratrion:

Or do I have to do that with Mass Actions?

I also have used the standard report "Five best categories over the last two weeks" but this report give me no infomation.

Hope you can help us.

Kind regards,
Lumiga

Hi,

You want to do that with a report.
You'll need to select the type "category".
And the display type "listing".

Yes we did that, but then I think the results are not correct!
Because all the categories together are more then 3 times the turnover from the last 30 days from the whole shop.

How can you explain that?

Hi,

If you have products in several categories, then they'll be counted for each category's total amount. So it's normal that if you sum the total amount of all the categories you get a bigger number than your turnover.
Note also that if you modified older orders recently, their modified date will be updated and thus they will appear there even if they were paid before.

Oké good point to use "create" as Date Type but then we see almost no difference.

But I stil don't know what the rapport does and how I have to read the Report?

Because all the product that where sold have only ONE categorie. selected.
See screenshots.

I did a test with orders from the last 2 days, and there was one order with € 53,95
With € 32,50 from categorie Chalk Paint and
€ 21,45 from the categorie brushes.

Why does the report give € 107,90 from the categorie brushes and
€ 53,95 ChalkPaint?

It looks like two or more categories for one product is not the issue. .

Hi,

I'm not sure then. I would need to check the situation directly on the website backend to better understand what's going on.
Could you provide such access ?

Hi,

Thanks for the access. I checked the situation but I'll have to do some debugging to be able to go down to the bottom of the problem.
Could you also provide a FTP access so that I can do that ?

Hi Nicolas,

Sorry for my late reply, but I don't get e-mails from the ticketsystem (also not in the spam box).
So sometime I have to check the issues by my selfs.

But I have send you the FTP access.

UPDATE: You can login, access is tested and working now!
