Hi.. have trouble to make a product, that must have a shipping method ?
How do I do that ?
Cant see this anywhere ?
I hope Hikashop can do that ?
Or is it in the Commercial version ?
please reply ?

Hi,

If a product have a weight, it will require a shipping method.
If products don't have weight and you want shipping, you have to use the option "force shipping regardless weight".

You can create and edit your shipping methods in the backend. The most common plugin is the "manual" plugin.

HikaShop can do that in the starter version. You can do a complete store using the free version of HikaShop, there is the same payment and shipping plugins in all editions of HikaShop.

Thanks for your quick reply :-)
But the costumer, can change the delivery, even it has a weight ?
Is it the "Shippingmethod" in wrong order ? (have 2 shipping online or by post)
- Voth is from "manuel shipping plugins" - is this wrong ?
I have - under products set the weight to 00.250 kg - and i have tried to make 250.00 g, and the costumer, can change the delivery to online :-(

I have tried all, but I cant get it right ?

- And the "Force the shipping method" I can´t find ? where is this hiding :-)

Hi,

I am sorry but I don't understand what you said.

The option to force the shipping is in the configuration :

Force shipping regardless of weight : If you activate that option, the shipping methods selection and the shipping address views will be displayed on the checkout regardless of whether the products have a weight or not (you still need to have your shipping methods configured).


After that I don't understand what is "change the delivery to online" or what you means with wrong order of shipping methods.

When you configure a shipping method, you have a zone named "Restriction". You can check the checkbox and you will see the restriction possibilities.
