Shipping Method for free version of Hikashop

I am only able to use the manual shipping method in the free version of Hikashop.

Is this true?

Can I not use Canada Post or Fedex plugins too?

Do I need to upgrade to commercial version of Hikashop to have Canada post and Fedex plugins work?

This is what web developer for my site is telling me.

Hi,

Your web developer is wrong. All the shipping and payment plugins we offer with HikaShop can be used with all the editions of HikaShop, even the free one.

Could i please have someone from Hikashop look at this issue. The developer is telling me otherwise. I am starting to get frustrated here I am paying him to get this working. Perhaps he just needs some direction from someone in Hikashop.

Hi,

Which issue ?
We said that HikaShop starter includes same shippings methods than HikaShop essential and HikaShop business.
You do not require to upgrade HikaShop to use Canada post, UPS, USPS or Fedex. Plugins are directly installed and you can configure them in the shipping methods in the backend, just have to click on the "new" button to create a new configuration.

We have done that. I never ever shows up. even if we add a size or a weight.

So,

Can you send us a screenshot of one of your shipping plugin which is not showing up ? (and you shipping listing in the backend).
We would need also an HikaShop product in order to check the weight/size parameters and maybe some elements of your HikaShop checkout configuration.

Some shipping plugins check the user address to work properly. So if the user address is not right (right country, etc) it is possible that it does not show up.

The installation of shipping and payment plugins are a separate issue. Must be "turned on" first.

I just installed this shop last night and have been setting it up this morning. By tonight I should have an online e-commerce site!
