Shipping Conflict

Hi,

Our DVD's have different shipping prices than all other products in our store. I have set the shipping charges for the DVD's in the product edit menu under the price per product option. It works fine as long as a customer is purchases a DVD by itself (without any other type of product on the site). However, if you add another type of product (NOT DVD) then our standard shipping methods seem to be overriding the price per product shipping charges. Any ideas on how to configure my store to use BOTH shipping methods on the same order if the user is purchasing both a DVD and another type of product?

I'll need more information to understand your problem, so can you show me screenshots of :
- How did you configured your shipping method
- How did you configured your DVD product
- How did you configured the other that you are putting into your cart, and that don't have any shipping price
- How did you configured your "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Checkout" page.

I have attached an image with the manual shipping method configuration, the checkout configuration, and the dvd product configuration with the shipping price per product.

The problem is that the shipping i set in the shipping price per product does not apply when the dvd is added to another product that is using the manual shipping method. Put simply, it does not combine these two shipping methods. The total shipping should be (shipping of product 1) + (shipping of dvd). I can pm you backend credentials if necessary.
