-- HikaShop version -- :2.3.0
-- Joomla version -- : 2.5.14

I have 2 types of products.
A is small, postable (AusPost can post them), has no problems ordering or finishing checkout.
B are too large for AusPost, and I don't want to post them, so I made a Warehouse "NotAusPost".

For shipping methods.
AusPost (restricted to the main warehouse)
Manual - pickup (restricted to country - Australia)

When a customer orders item A, both shipping show up and the order can be completed using the button "finish".
When a customer orders item B, it is defaulted to Manual - pickup for shipping, but using the "finish" button refreshes the cart page.
I added the "checkout progress" line. You can click the "end" of the progress and it finishes the creation of the order for product B.

I have tried setting up price per product for both - no effect.
I cannot find anything on product pages to edit to fix this.
I did have a problem with naming a menu item "checkout" which caused some problems, but I changed the name of the menu item and the issue seems to be resolved.

Hikashop is only visible to registered members of the site.

I hope you can help :)

Hi,

Please re-download HikaShop 2.3.0
We made some modification during last days for the shipping, I think that the new 2.3.0 package could fix your problem.

If not, some accesses could be useful in order to make some test and see the problem directly.

Hi,

I am sorry but I can't reproduce your problem.
I think that I don't add the right products in the cart.

Can you please provide some indications to reproduce your problem ?

Thanks,

Thanks for getting back to me.

The problem items are all the "too long to post". For my shop at www.jugger.org.au , that means 3 of the 4 cores. The two 2m and one 1.5m. The shorter core is not a problem.

I suspect the problem is that I set these cores for a different warehouse so I could restrict my AusPost shipping to not work for that warehouse. Instead I get orders that don't finish for these products.

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

Can you please provide me some screenshots of your shipping configuration ?
I will also require a screenshot of your trouble in order to be able to reproduce it.

Even if I see the two warehouses by adding the "2m Spar Core" product, I can't see the Australia Post plugin.
I was able to complete an order (M11) with the two warehouses. Both of them are using the "pick up" shipping method.
But I don't think that is the problem.
Before helping you to find a solution for your problem, we have first need to understand it clearly.

Hi,

As per your request configuration details. Evidence to show you what I mean by the "finish" button not working for particular items that are too big to ship/are in a different warehouse.

Main configuration setup:

How the products are setup:
They have weight, dimensions, and are setup to be in the warehouse "NotAusPost" Which is designed to not be used for AusPost shipping plugin. The only other shipping available is Manual shipping - pickup.

Configuration for Manual Shipping - known in this case as Pickup.

Configuration for AusPost plugin: The restrictions are set for the main warehouse - the one that is fine to use AusPost.

Here is one of the items in question in the cart - and the "finish" button that only refreshes the page - it will NOT continue the order. The rest of the cart works correctly - it will not choose AusPost shipping (hopefully because the item is set for NotAusPost Warehouse and not because it is genuinely too big to ship by AusPost and will cause an error). It automatically chooses Pickup as it should, and picks up the correct (and only) payment option.

I hope this makes my problem clearer. I hope you can help!

Hi,

Thanks, I am now finally able to reproduce your problem in your website.
I have fix something very similar end of February but you are using a quite recent package (begin of March).
So I think that the best will be to have an FTP access to your website so I will be able to add some debug trace and check why the validation of the order is not made.
At this moment I will be able to made direct a patch for your and submit this patch into HikaShop.
