Shipping Cost by Post Code

Hi there,

Stumbled across this problem and after searching and searching the internet about how to get this to work I just can't

Basically I want HikaShop to recognise the customers Zip Code/Post Code and use the relevant shipping option as we had a parcel ordered way up in Scotland and our standard price was £4.95 yet it cost us £15!

So is there a way using the Shipping Zones and Manual Shipping method to automatically chose which shipping option to use?

I have tried setting the Zip Code Prefix to IV (Inverness) and then the minimum post code to 0000 and maximum to 9999. This means we would ship to all of Inverness but for the price stated.

When I try go through the cart with an IV post code this is not recognised? It still charged the standard £6.95?

Can you show me how did you configured your manual shipping method restriction options, and what is the shipping address that you are using for your shipping address through some screenshots ?

I have attached the print screens of the restrictions and the shipping address.

I only changed the post code to see if this would work.

Just another question, I think I may have realised why this method doesn't work.

Would it be because on my Standard Shipping method I have no restrictions so it will just use this one as a default? As there are no restrictions to pin point what we want to use it for?

I have worked out how to do this by "State" so now the postage price changes on which state they live in.

So now I gave around 100 shipping methods!!

Should work fine though. Would be great if you could tell me about the post code way though!
