Hi,
I am using Australia Post plugin that comes with Hikashop as my shipping method. I am allowing Express, Standard and Air methods to be used for shipping. I also packaged product in one package, however all is good when I am sounding within the state, as the prices appear to be realistic (for example $14.95 up to 3 kg of products), however the prices change when the user select another state (go up to ~$19 or $23), which in reality should be around $15 for express post.
I am wondering if there is something I am missing, as much as I would like to get more money from my customers I believe this may not be the best option.
Regards.

Hello,

however the prices change when the user select another state (go up to ~$19 or $23), which in reality should be around $15 for express post.

The Australia Post is receiving the rates from the Australia post Itself, the if the prices are too high the problem is probably coming from the dimensions/weight or the number of the packages that you want to send to your customers.
So you should probably check that the final weight/dimensions or number of package that you'll send to your customer isn't too high.

The confusing part is for exactly the same package the price is different from one state to the other, which is not accurate according to the Australia Post website. For example, express post satchel for weight under 3kg should be the same price regardless where it is sent in Australia.
I am not really sure how is that getting to be calculated. Also, I am only using weight field for my products (no dimensions are specified).

Hi,

As Mohamed said, HikaShop is only displaying the rates that are given back by the Australia Post web service, and if between two tests only the address changes and you see a price change, it means that Australia Post's web service is giving a different price for different addresses with the same products.
I would recommend to check your results with Australia Post's technical support and confirm your shipping method settings with them.
