I recently upgraded hikashop to the latest version. All of a sudden i get this:
Error while sending XML to CANADA POST. Error code: -3000. Message: Origin Postal Code is illegal.

Not sure what is causing it. I have verified the Canadian postal code as 6 characters with no space in them bu that did not help.

I also noticed that the ware house keep duplicating it as shown in the image attached here. I have attempted to delete thee second option but it keeps poping up.

is there something i am doing wrong? please help.

Hello,
Can you check that you correctly removed the "-" through your warehouse Name and Post code ?

I did that already!! Problem is that the second warehouse option does not go away. It keeps re-appearing after saving the settings.

The postal code is 6 characters without any space or hyphens.

Well I guess you guys are very busy!! I have somehow managed to solve the problem. What i did is to replace the NEW Canada post Plugin files (after the Update) with the original Plugin files i had before the update. I am glad i had them saved!! But in the meantime, its would be nice to make sure the new plugin code works in the updates.

Hello,
Can you tell me which version did you have before the update, so that I can directly fix it ?
Thanks.

Hi,
I'm having multiple warnings and errors when testing our Hikashop checkout.

Here's our website URL: highwheelerantiques.com/
Screenshot attached.

I've already gone through the FAQ page about setting up the shipping plugin, I've already made sure the item had a weight associated with item being ordered, I've checked to make sure that I had the correct Merchant ID and configured the shipping profile on the Canada Post website and I created a warehouse in both recommended places, the plugin and in the module configuration section. Kind of at a loss now. Can someone please help.

Thanks

Hello,

Can you show me some screenshots of how you configured :
- Your Canada Post shipping method
- The products weight/dimensions that are on your cart

So that I can understand and reproduce it on my end.

Hello,
I just tested it with :
- Your configuration
- a Canadian shipping address

And it worked fine with my credentials, can you give us a temporary access to your back-end so that we can directly test it ?
You can send it through our contact form :
www.hikashop.com/support/contact-us.html
Don't forget to specify that thread URL.

Thanks.

Hello,
I just tested it with my Merchant ID and it worked fine, your issue is probably coming from it, so the solution will be to directly contact the Canada Post Platform about it.

Any idea how I would display the content of the XML file being produced and posted to their server? That may give me a clue as to why I'm getting the parsing error returned.

Thanks

Hello,
Sure you'll just have to edit the "canadapost.php" file of your Canada Post plugin, and display the "$xml" variable through the " function _RequestMethods($data, $xml)" function.
But As I previously told you, It worked fine with my Merchant ID, so you should contact the Canada Post platform to check your Merchant ID.

Hi,

That error indicates a problem with your web server not allowing outgoing connections. I would recommend to contact your hosting company in order to check on that with them.
