Shipping UPS Account Pricing

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3

After talking to UPS they said basically it is not there problem and the problem is with the program I am using..

The problem is that the UPS shipping prices are the prices without my online shipping account.

They are the prices as if I have walked up to a counter at a UPS store and those prices are a lot higher...

I have tried everything but really need my website shipping prices to come from my account on my site...

Hi,

If in the UPS shipping method parameters you set your UPS access key and User ID so you should get the same values than on your UPS account.

When using this method your account data are sent to UPS, so I guess that they should use these informations to give the correct pricing.

Yes, but the problem is I am not getting those prices.. I have check my joomla hikashop UPS options and they are all correct and when I log into UPS I get the correct prices but not with the my shipper account filledout in Hikashop for UPS, it gives me the higher (non UPS account" price...

any ideas of what could possibly cause this? UPS was of no help at all..

Hi there,

Could you give us a screenshot of your UPS shipping method configuration?
Did you try with another account (if you have one) to see if there is any difference?
Also, it could simply be a mistyped password, make sure to check that.

Last thing, I see you are using Hikashop 2.3.1, the last version is 2.3.2. you could give it a try!

Hi,

You can blur the fields value in your image software, or you can also temporarily remove them before doing the screenshot and post it on the forum directly.

Here are the images (took 3 to get the entire page of options/setting. I removed my account info which is usually their and is correct as I checked a million times...

Hi,

It could be because of the "group packages" or the "negotiated rate" or the "pickup-type" options there. Try to change them and see if that helps.

I am going to keep an eye ion this thread as well because I suspect that I am having the same issue. It's a bit harder for me to define because I don't talk to our UPS rep directly, but I already encountered this same problem with USPS.

in any event, it is important for us to know if the UPS plugin works properly or not. If it doesn't and it is becvause of the plugin not talking to UPS properly we need to find a way to fix it.

Changed the pick up option to option for "customer counter" to "daily pickup and I am getting the correct quotes for my discounted account with UPS now...

Well, I went and bought the "essential" and everything is all messed up... My shipping, which was working fine with the free version finally, is now completely wrong..

At least before the price matched my shipping without my account which was 20.50, then I got it to work with my account number so the shipping for my product was 16.33 with my UPS account discount... bought the essential Hika version for options, added some options and the shipping is now 81$ which makes ZERO sense at all..

I have looked through all the options I have added and non added any dimension or weight to shipping... this once again makes zero sense and I am getting really frustrated... On top of the shipping, all the work I did with the titles for my products imges has disappeared, the code is still their in the views file but with the upgrade the titles do not sho up under my imges like they did before I upgraded...

I need help because now I am right back to the begging after 3 months of getting things finally correct...

I was able to get it somewhat working last night but still not thrilled with what it is doing... If I use the group packages in the UPS plugin it seems to group all the product options together and get the correct price... The problem then is , if I sell 2 products to the same customer it seems to group them into a single package sometimes .... My options do not add to the weight or size of my package they are just color hardware and different appearance options.. but my packages are large and I can only ship 1 per box...

If I do not have group packages in UPS plugin chosen it seems to take each individual option as a separate product for shipping, even though I have each product option as "virtual goods"

Let me know what you need and thanks, the options really work great for my in the pay plugin, it just seemed to disrupt all I have set up in the free plugin to this point...

UPS have some dimensions restrictions for their Packages, so each time the grouped package exceed that restriction, we create new grouped package.

3. Yes, it will send invidually all your order products, but NOT your virtual goods.
