Hello Tony,
I have made three different weight categories. 0 -.5 kg, .501 - 3 kg, and 3.01 - 5 kg, as per Australia Posts express envelopes. Every product in our shop has a weight allocated to it in kg.
Hikashop will not display the correct selection for the weight. With 4.5kg of items ordered Hikashop is offering the shipping price on the 2nd category (.501 - 3 kg), when it should be offering the 3rd weight category of over 3 kg.
after DAYS of trying to work out what i was doing wrong, it now seems that what is actually wrong is HIKASHOP is asking the Australia Post website for the pricing information on the WRONG category!
I can tell this, because by me changing the fixed component of the shipping cost, i can see which of the three Australia Post shipping plugins is being used.
Thanks for your feedback, I'm actually working on the refactoring of the code of the Hikashop Australia post shipping plugin, the package size/weight limitation wasn't correct.
Incidentally, even the pricing that is coming back is actually OLD pricing. It changed two months ago.
So not only is the wrong shipping costs coming back relating to the weight category WRONG, so is the PRICING for that wrong CATEGORY!
Note that if you have more information regarding the "New pricing" system, like a developer documentation, posting it will probably help me
.
Thanks.
