Question about shipping for different cart weights

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.5
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6
-- PHP version -- : 5.4

I am confused about how to set up the shipping for the shop we are setting up.

It needs to follow something like this:

Small packages up to 3kg: 4.95
Standard packages from 3kg to 20kg: 7.95
Additional 1kg above: 0.35 per kg

Please can you advise. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You need to create several shipping methods of the type "manual shipping plugin" via the menu System>Shipping methods using the weight restriction fields like this:

from 0 to 3kg -> 4.95
from 3 to 20kg -> 7.95
from 20 to 21kg -> 8.30
from 21 to 22kg ->8.65
...etc...
The system will then automatically calculate the total weight of the items in the cart and filter the shipping methods to only display the relevant one(s) to the customer.
