I made different shipping methods for different countries and different weights. The customer may always choose to pick up the order themselves for free. The other choice is a delivery with GLS and the cost depends from country to country.
Last week I had a French customer buying something with a weight less than 2kg, which is exactly the upper limit of shipping method GLS BE 0-2 and GLS EUR2 0-2. The only difference between both is the 'Zone' parameter which is for GLS BE 0-2 Belgium and for GLS EUR2 0-2 Europa2. Zone Europa2 is defined as a list of countries, France is one of them. This French customer could choose between the free shipping method, the Belgian shipping method AND the French shipping method. He choose the Belgian method, which should not be there, so he had to pay 10,60EUR less. Can you please investigate why the Belgian shipping method is also there for a French customer?

Hello,
Ok but for these 2 GLS shipping methods, did you add different and specific zone restrictions through the "Zone" option of these shipping configuration pages ?

Yes,

That's what I mean with: The only difference between both is the 'Zone' parameter which is for GLS BE 0-2 Belgium and for GLS EUR2 0-2 Europa2. Zone Europa2 is defined as a list of countries, France is one of them.

Does this answer your question?

Sure, but in that case the Belgium shipping method shouldn't be showing, can you show me through some screenshots how did you configured your shipping methods and their zone ?
Thanks.

Hello,
I just tested it on my end, the only difference was that my "Europe2" zone was a shipping zone, and it worked fine, can you test it again and if it still don't work, can you send me a temporary access to your back-end through a private message so that I can directly test it ?
Thanks

Hello,

I have tried to change Europe2 into a shipping zone, but this wasn't of any help, I could still as a French customer select the cheaper Belgian shipping method

Can you give me a temporary access to your back-end through a private message so that I can directly test it ?
Thanks.

Your issue is coming from the fact that you have a "France" zone on the "Sub-zones" tab of your "Belgium" zone, you'll be able to remove it through your "Belgium" zone configuration page.
