UPS Plugin - No Shipping Method Found

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.3
-- Joomla version -- : 2.5.11
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox - Most Recent Version
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : No shipping method found

Testing Purchase in HikaShop using UPS Plugin and receiving this error:
No shipping method found

I don't intend to upgrade HikaShop version at this point. We already installed latest version of HikaShop and made several customizations to it when we began web development project. Joomla Programmer has advised against upgrade and client isn't willing to pay for additional time to upgrade.

What our expectations are here (other than to have you say to upgrade HikaShop) is determine if other users have reported a similar issue or if you would know the cause of the error. I also have a call into UPS Support to determine if they are seeing any errors on their end.

Hi I am having the same issue I believe. When I go to my products details page no shipping options are displayed at all.




I've already looked at the suggested link above and gone through the steps but nothing seems to be jumping out at me where there may be something miss configured. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

The shipping methods are displayed in the HikaShop backend, under "system > shipping methods".
You can't manage the shipping in the product edition page ; I think you confuse the "shipping price per product" which is something totally different.

Where am I going wrong?

Maybe the "UPS standard" service wasn't available for your order parameters (order weight/size/shipping address/..), can you check each UPS services and test it again ?
Also, are you sure that you didn't set any restriction option through the "Restriction" tab ?
