Hi,

Just wondering if there is an up to date auspost plugin?

The weight, volume size is out of date

Also, since the Australia Post has a weight limit of 20 kg and a volume limit of 0.18 m3, the system will calculate automatically the number of parcels needed for the shipping and display prices accordingly.

Domestic-22kg-105cm-0.25 cubic metres

If you could let me know ASAP, thank you.

Hello,

1. Yes you're right, we'll have to update it.

2. The AuPost Shipping plugin already have these restrictions, but note that I'm currently doing a refactoring of all the AuPost shipping plugin to be sure that it use the last AuPost API.

Do you know / have an ETA of when the updated AusPost plugin will be available?

Hello,
We actually created a new AusPost plugin, so that people which were correctly using the old one, won't have any issue, and also because you'll need an API key with the new AusPost plugin.
To use it you'll just have to download the last Hikashop version and use the "Hikashop Australia Post eDeliver Shipping Plugin V2".

Hi
My Austpost shipping plugin v2 stopped working and has jammed the check out process throwing an error customers could not get past. "Message
No shipping method found". I have checked the API code, it appears to still be current.
So I have had to make a "Free Shipping in Australia" option which of course hurts.

I have just upgraded to the Business edition hoping there would be an upgrade to the plugin that would solve the problem. Alas I see none and the problem persists.

How do I secure and configure "Hikashop Australia Post eDeliver Shipping Plugin V2"?

Thank you

Rob

Hello Rob,

Can you test it with the last AuPost shipping version :

We update the Australia Post V2 shipping plugin according to the "pac api update 2016", which means that we have added new weight/dimensions limits and services but that we also cleared and optimized the code.
Here is the last Australia Post V2 version if you want to directly download, install and test it.

If you still have your issue, then you should directly follow each step of the FAQ :

FAB.

Have installed plugin via extensions manager, all good.

It appears to have over written the existing V2 version and inherited the API key etc. Good.

Still not working, Hmm.
Our manual "Free shipping" appears on the page but no Auspost option.

Running through the list of items in the FAQ. Not holding much hope as have checked those with the previous version but will do again.

Is there a way to check the API key is valid?

Thanks for the update
Rob

Hello Rob,

Sure you can directly contact the AuPost platform about it, but you can also give us a temporary back-end access so that we can be sure that it's coming from it.
You can send it through our contact form :

Hi
Still having troubles with Auspost Shipping plug in and shipping in general.
For a straight up standard, "let AUS Post work it out shipping configuration for national and international sales" may I ask what are the settings?

I have tried quite a few work arounds and am at a loss.
We are in Australia. Thought we had free shipping in Aus only but an order from the US came in without shipping so we are selling a product that doesn't cost as much as the transport. Tried setting a default $25 flat rate overseas shipping but when I log in as an OS customer I don't see it as an option. The step "2 Shipping" only has payment info and lists the chosen method as "free shipping in Australia".

When I tried to log in as US customer using Safari, the drop down list of countries was blank. It did not respond to search and always bounced back to Australia. GRRRR! Used Firefox to get around that but I bet customers won't. See attached png.

Starting to lose my mind.

Help Please.

Can you give us more information about what you exactly want to do so that we can give you adapted instructions ?
If you just want your Australia Post shipping method to be able to ship packages to international destinations, the solution will just be to :
- Enable "International" shipping services
- Make sure that the "Zone" option of your shipping method isn't set.

When I tried to log in as US customer using Safari, the drop down list of countries was blank. It did not respond to search and always bounced back to Australia. GRRRR! Used Firefox to get around that but I bet customers won't. See attached png.

Can you give us a temporary access to your back-end so that we can directly test and debug it ? You can send it via :
www.hikashop.com/support/contact-us.html

Please, don't forget to also add the link to that thread so that we can quickly identify for what these access were sent.

Thank you.
