On some occasions I get customers who want to pick up their order instead of paying for the shipping.
Is there a way to give the customer the choice to ship at a specific cost for shipping or customer pick up?

Hi,

Sure. Create a manual shipping method via the menu System>shipping methods and call it "pick up". In its options screen, you can also activate the "override shipping address" so that the shipping address doesn't have to be filled by the customer and it replaced with for example your store address or other kind of instructions.

Make sure you do this by midnight the night before you want your packages picked up.Go to www.usps.com and click on "Schedule a Pickup" from the menu bar across the top.Click on "Carrier Pickup".Fill in your street address and zip code, and click "continue".Fill in your first name, last name, and phone number. On the same page you will need to check the box stating you understand the Privacy Act. Then click "continue". On this page you will have to choose where your packages will be. Choose the second option for an alternate location. You'll see why on the next page. Now, click "continue".On this page you need to put in the number of how many packages you have for each service. You will have to have at least one Priority Mail (or Express Mail) package in order to schedule a carrier pick-up. You will choose the location. You can also include and special instructions for the carrier on this page. Once all that information is filled in, you will need to check the box for the disclaimer, and then click "continue".Now, just type in your email address and click "Complete Pickup Scheduling", you're done! It should tell you your pickup has been scheduled. You should also receive an email confirming your pickup.
