Simple Price Per Product Question

This may be a totally noob question but I am totally new to Hikashop. I want to be able to have different shipping prices for different products. If one item is really big, I would like to charge like 12 dollars for it, but another item might only cost 2 dollars to ship. I selected the price per product option in the manual shipping method, and it asks me to put a price per product there. Of course that would not work because the cost needs to be different depending on the item. So I need to enter the shipping price on the product page. I read that there is an option to add shipping price on the product page, but I cannot find it anywhere! I am using the free version of Hikashop. Is this not available in the free version? If it is, can somebody explain where it is to me like you are talking to a four year old? Because I have looked and looked and clicked and clicked! If it's not available in the free version. What version do I need to upgrade to? Does essential have it? If so, can somebody show me where it says that it does? I looked on the essentials description page and it says nothing about having this ability. In fact none of them even mention it. I like Hikashop but your documentation kind of sucks! Sorry I'm just really frustrated.

I understand that you can be frustrated, it's true that Hikashop can be hard to use and understand at the beginning. Regarding the documentation, it's true that it doesn't cover every possibility of use that Hikashop offer, but Hikashop really offer a LOT of possibilities so we try to improve it every day.
In your case, you'll find your answer through that documentation page :

Use the prices per product: With that option, you can activate the price per product system for that shipping method. Two things will happen:
You will get a "Price per product" option on that same screen where you will be able to configure a fixed shipping price for each product added to the cart which will be summed up and added to the main price of the shipping method.
If you have activated the "HikaShop Shipping manual - Prices per product" plugin via the plugin manager of Joomla, you will be able to configure prices for that shipping method for each one of your products on their edition page

Also, note that if you don't find what you need on the documentation, feel free to directly search it through the Hikashop forum where you'll probably find what you need like that thread for example :

The solution will just be to :
- Use the "Use price per product" option of your shipping method configuration page
- Go to your product configuration page
- Set a shipping price / fee for your product through the "Shipping prices" tab of your product configuration page

Oh wow! I never tried turning it on and then go back into the product page. That was too easy! Clearly I'm half retarded! Thanks for you help. That works.
