FedEx not Authenticating

FedEx is not showing up in the shipping methods. We are getting a "FEDEX Authentication Failed" error at the top of the checkout screen but nothing more. I have debug turned on and error reporting set to maximum. Is there anyway to get a more detailed error message to find out why it might be failing?

We are using test credentials and have reissued them several times. We have triple checked to ensure we have them entered correctly and we have followed the directions as closely as we can. The documentation seems to be showing screenshots from a previous version as they don't make the option layout in our system.

Any thoughts to what we may be missing or how we can find out some more information in the Authentication Error?

We reissued the credentials and reentered everything again. We also double checked everything you mentioned. Now it is working!! We obviously missed something, somewhere previously.

Now to get UPS going I am guessing all the same suggestions hold for UPS
