Hello,
I contacted Aupost regarding that issue that we are having when we group products together and I'm waiting for their reply. For the moment, the best solution will be to use the V1 or to disable the "Group products together" option.

Hi,
You'll just have to set the "Auto submit shipping and payment methods selection" option to YES via "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Checkout" to fix it.

Yes I would like this issue fixed too. The V1 plugin works OK on weight but not volume, and V2 massively undercalculates the freight cost. This is a serious issue for us.

Hello,
No news from Australia Post, we are trying to solve it ourselves by changing the structure of the datas that are sent to the Australia Post platform when the "Group Packages" option is ON.

It is not just the group packages option that is the problem, and it is becoming a very costly issue for us. We are going to have to use another package if this is not fixed soon.

Hello,
Still no reply and we NEED that reply, the Aupost is structured like it is specified on the AUPOST developer documentation.

Here is the message that I sent them multiple times, through there contact form but also through that email address for example Customer_Connectivity[AT]auspost.com[DOT]au :

Hi,
I'm part of the Hikari softwares development team and I'm in charge of the development of an AusPost shipping module. Hikari software propose to ecommerces a solution named Hikashop in Joomla which allow them to build their website with multiple shipping and payment method including AusPost.I'm currently using your API apipostageparcelinternationalserviceapiv3postagedomesticservice and some of our clients feedback are saying that when we send a grouped order (only in one package), the rates doesn't change regardless of the weight / dimension package which is changing, here is an example :
When we send these values :

["from_postcode"]=> "2212"
["to_postcode"]=> "4817"
["length"]=> 150
["width"]=> 150
["height"]=> 10
["weight"]=> 110

Even if we increase the weight and some dimensions, the service price is the same and will change only when the weight/dimensions will reach a really high value.

Can you give me more information about it and the way the price is calculated using the API : /api/v3/postage/domestic/service.json

Best regards,
Mohamed.

It is not just grouped products that have the problem. If we add just one product to the cart, under V1 the freight returned is $18. The Aus Post website returns $18. But the V2 plugin returns $7.45.

Hello,

Even if I RE-check it, the datas sent to Australia Post are correctly structured, so the issue is coming from the fact the the Australia Post platform is returning that price, and the Australia Post shipping plugin is only displaying it.
Note that specifying both issues if you send them a message will really help.

Thank you.

I finally received contact about this from AusPost, but only when I posted on Twitter. No response to emails. They are asking for a case number - do you have one? If not, suggest that you tweet them on @auspost as that got a response for me

They also say you need to submit all requests through their support portal which generates a case number and tracking:
