-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.8
-- PHP version -- : 5.6.17

I apologize if this question has already been answered but I honestly have looked almost everywhere and can't get the answer.

Could someone explain to me how i can skip the Shipping Methods when a customer have 2 goods in his cart?
The Company offers free Shipping Methods for the purchase of 2 products. (No delivery charge for 2 products)

I have tried it with restrictions, the maximum quantity set to: 2, but then follows the error : The cart items combined quantity is too high for all the possible shipping methods. Just want to skip that part!

Is that possible?

Sry for my English :D

best regards

Hi,

You're on the right track.
You jsut need to create a second manual shipping method with a price of 0 and a minimum quantity of 2 so that it will display instead of the normal shipping method when you have at least two products in the cart.

Thank you nicolas that has helped!

Is there any possibility to skip the step Shipping Methods when the customer receives free shipping?

I have two manual shipping methods:

1. DHL (when the customer have one good in his cart) Display Step Shipping Methods
2. Free Shipping ( when the customer have two or more goods in his cart) should not be displayed

I hope this is understandable.

Hi,

You can't skip the shipping method selection step when there is free shipping.
There is no option for that.
You sure could add some custom code in the file "shipping" of the view "checkout" via the menu Display>Views if you want to do that yourself, but it requires some developer skills to be able to code that.

OK thanks for the answer.

Another question:

I can´t find a solution to display the shipping costs in the order overview or they are not displayed.

Thanks

This looks like a bug of your template.
Rename the file templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop/checkout/cart.php to something else via FTP and that should help.
