Local Pickup + Tax : Version 2.3.5

Do I need to update Hikashop? I am always a little hesitant about updating Joomla or Hikashop, as I am always worried about imcompatibilites. I guess it is more so updating Joomla until I know Hikashop is ready.

I have a client in Indiana of the USA. The shop has been working great for over a year! I am assuming I need to upgrade them to a new version of Hikashop for what they want.

They are now adding items that can only be picked up at the store. So I did some searching and figured out how to add a new shipping method and how to block shipping methods per product. I could not get it to tax for Indiana on the new pickup shipping method even though I used "Override shipping address" with "Your shop address".

I dug a little more and found this post asking for exactly that. I realized in that post there is a picture of the shipping method and it has an option that is not in 2.3.5, I don't think.

2.3.5 does not seem to have this.



So I expect I do need them to update in order to have this function?

If so is Hikashop 2.6.1 compatible with Joomla 3.5 and PhP 7? I think I read PhP 7 is working ok already.
