Hi, I have a question regarding a no-show of shipping cost for individual products.

The case is, I have several products which due to weight or dimensions have to be shipped differently to standard methods/costs depending on the order (e.g 100 pieces will make a pallet which can be shipped to X for 100Euro or to Z for 55Euro, 57 pieces will make a box - 20E to X, 15E to Y, etc.).
The point is - the client has to CONTACT US to get shippment details and price. No chance to set any price range.

Our problem - completing the payment procedure, the cost of shippment is displayed as "0" (zero) or "free". Same is then continued in the 'payment summary' field.

How can I swich it off so that the cost of shippment is not displayed at all only with those products which need individual contact with our shop. It also has to be removed from the confirmation e-mail with payment details which is sent to the registered client.

Thank you,
M

Hi,

You'll need to do several things:
1. In your existing shipping methods, turn on the "shipping price per product" setting.
2. In these products edition page, click on the "block" checkbox for these shipping methods under the "shipping prices" area. And set in them an unrealistic weight like 9999kg.
3. Edit your payment methods and restrict them to these shipping methods.
4. Create a new manual shipping method with a price of 0 and a minimum weight restriction of 9999kg.
5. Create a new "collect on delivery" payment method, restrict it to the previous shipping method and set its name as "request a quote" or something like that.
6. You also want to override the free price translation:
FREE_PRICE="Free"
To put instead TBD or something like that:
