Random error on shipping portion of checkout

My site is getting random errors on the shipping portion of checkout. It will state that either no shipping method was chosen, or that the shipping address is not valid. I myself have done dozens of tests and have not been able to reproduce the event, but still I have customers contacting me with complaints. I am at loss on where to go next...

Hi,

Well, without being able to reproduce the problem it will be complex to say why it happens.
What is the exact error message for the "no shipping methods chosen" issue ? I was not able to reproduce it on your website and I don't really see how you could get it.

Regarding the shipping address, not valid, it would be great to get the exact error message. When I tried on your website, I got that error "The post code entered is not valid" because I entered an invalid post code. So if your customers have the same errror, it's either that they made a mistake with their post code, or that the check you're using is wrong in the custom field.

Yes I understand we need the exact message, but I'm having trouble getting that. Some of the responses from customers have been:

"I've already filled the address, name etc' field and then I got stucked in the SHIPPING page,it's says-"no shipping method chose".
or something like that,even though I put my address details..."

I have tried on my desktop, phone, and tablet and still can't recreate the problem. I try this as guest and as a new registered customer. We are still getting orders in, but we are also still getting those that can not get through the system. It does not seem to be a geographic issue as the problems are from all over the world. I tried on multiple browsers as well, couldn't reproduce the problem. Could it be anything related to Java or various versions of browsers? We are using the USPS plug in... could it be with the USPS account or the interface to it as opposed to the Hikashop program itself?

Hi,

If you are using USPS plugin ; That plugin will send the cart details with the customer shipping address to USPS API gateway, then it will receive some quotes. Unfortunately, if the address is invalid or outside the USPS zone, you won't have any quote.
The problem is not related to the browser our how you test it ; it is related to the data and to USPS API.
