Hello everybody,

is there a possibility to preconfigure the available adress data for the manual shipping module.

For example: I'm currently evaluating this for use in a homepage of a delivery service. So this service want's to deliver only for an explicite region. So therefor I wan't to preconfigre the street names and according postcodes.

Is there a possibility to do so? So that the user only can select an adress out of the providet adress data?

best regards,
George

Hi,

Sure. You can modify these fields via the menu Display>Custom fields. Change the type of the field from "text" to "single dropdown" and enter all the possible values in there so that the customer can only select among the possible values.

@nicolas: oh great, thank you is there a possibility to upload the adress information in a csv or somthing corresponding?

By the way: is it possible to configure the shipping method, that the shipping fee is automaticly removed when a certain amount for the order is reached?

Hello,

By the way: is it possible to configure the shipping method, that the shipping fee is automaticly removed when a certain amount for the order is reached?

Sure, you'll just have to create 2 shipping methods (1 for each case ) and use the "Price" and "Minimum/Maximum Price" options through your shipping methods configuration page to probably restrict them.

There is no CSV import option for custom fields, so the solution will either be to do it manually or directly by using SQL requests through your phpmyadmin.
