-- PHP version -- : 7014

I am trying to create a checkout proces that is as customer friendly as possible... I have two delivery modules enabled, the first is a flat fee delivery for orders below 175 euros. The second (default) is a free delivery module for orders above 175 euros.

If an other complies with free delivery, I would like to autohide the first option. It still shows and confuses the customer. Can that be done? And if yes how?

Hi,

Sure. Edit your shipping method via the menu System>Shipping methods, and in the "restrictions" area, enter a maximum price of 175 and that shipping method won't display above that amount.

Yes that Is what you would expect and what I tried. However, in the screenshot below you see that the 15 euro handling is not disabled and still present

the module setting is as follows

Any idea as to why it still shows?

Rgds,
Pierre

Hi,

This means that the total amount is under 174€.
Note that since you have the "with tax" and the "include virtual products price" settings turned off in your shipping method, the total amount that will be taken into account will be the sum of the prices without tax of all the products with a weight.
So you might be misleading in thinking that the amount is above 174€ on your checkout while it isn't because of these.

Gooed afternoon,

Thanks for your replu, unfortunately this is not the case. IN the screenshot below you see that there is an order of 500 euro's which is way above the 174 euro limit and the 15 euros for transport is still displayed, so we're not there yet. Must be something else...

Hi,

The link you provided didn't work.
And do you products have a weight ? Because if not, as I said in my previous message, they won't be taken into account so even if you have a lot of products in the cart, the total amount taken into account will still be 0.

Thank you so much for your reply. I didnot realise that Hikashop considers everything without a weight as 'virtual'. Problem solved.
